Challenge: Build a program that would translate their loyal social following (built with the help of Mindspike Design and Mindbenders Media) into incremental sales opportunities.
Solution: Introduce a successful in-store loyalty program, dubbed Mama’s “Rock Star Club” during the 45th Anniversary of Summerfest. Fans were encouraged to bring their Summerfest ticket stub to Yo Mama! in exchange for a discount on their froyo. In order to receive additional rewards and discounts, customers were also encouraged in-store and online to register for the loyalty program.
Results: To this day, fans continue to enroll in Yo Mama’s Rock Star Club and it continues to separate Yo Mama! from other froyo shops.
