Challenge: Great Midwest Bank had established a Facebook page to engage with customers, but they did not have the time or resources to really make the most of it. Our client wanted to promote the advantages of working with a simply…local bank, primarily their passion for building meaningful relationships with customers.

Solution: Using multiple media channels including in-branch signage, radio, print, search engines and social media platforms, we encouraged people to Like Great Midwest Bank on Facebook, where they would come to intimately understand the Great Midwest Bank difference. Anyone who did so was eligible to win a $100 VISA Gift Card. One winner was chosen every week for 12 consecutive weeks. By growing GMB’s social following we were able to attract and retain potential new homebuyers.

Results: The impacts of proper social media usage for the bank were big! The client estimated that well over half of those who came to the bank that Spring mentioned the promo. This campaign was Simply…Successful!
